The River Church Brenham is a local church with an eternal mission. Ryan and Kaitlyn O’Connor are the founding pastors. The vision of the church is to fulfill the Great Commission described in Mark chapter 16. To operate in the same power that Jesus and the early Book of Acts church did. There is a hunger for the Power of God in every city, state, region, and country in the world and our goal at The River is to provide a place for residents of Brenham, Washington County, and all around Central Texas to experience that Power. The River is a place where we experience and cultivate that Power and knowledge of the Holy Spirit on a continual basis. We are a church of solid biblical teaching, anointed preaching, and demonstration of the Holy Spirit. 
 
The River Church also takes this message of the Gospel outside the walls of the church. Our vision is to see the power of God in the streets and realms of influence of Washignton County. The power of God is available to EVERYONE and it is our job as believers to make sure that EVERYONE hears this Good News. EVERYONE should have the opportunity to give their life to Christ. EVERYONE can receive an encounter with the tangible, life-altering, presence of God.
